Privacy
Your photos.
Your routes.

This policy covers the TickMark mobile app and this website, operated by Baguette Studios Ltd. Contact us at support@baguette-studios.dev with privacy questions.
Photos and edits
TickMark processes climbing photos, selections and outlines on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your photos or climbing gallery. The app stores source photos, masks, edits, folders and rendered previews in its local storage so you can reopen a climb.
When you press Done, TickMark saves your editable climb locally and creates or updates a linked image in your phone’s photo library. Photos saved there are managed separately from the app. Your operating system may include app data or photos in backups or cloud photo syncing, depending on your own device settings.
Permissions
- Camera: to take a climbing photo when you choose to.
- Photo and file access: to import the images you select.
- Photo-library access: to save and update your marked-up image. On iOS this uses read/write authorization; limited access is supported.
You can change permissions in your phone’s Settings. Some features will be unavailable when the required permission is denied.
Automatic selection and platform services
On iPhone, automatic selection uses Apple’s on-device Vision API. Apple may download the model assets required for this feature. On Android, selection uses Google MediaPipe Tasks with a bundled model; image segmentation runs locally.
Google documents that MediaPipe Tasks sends API performance and usage metrics to Google. Google processes those metrics under its own terms and privacy policy. This is separate from TickMark uploading your photos. See MediaPipe’s privacy information and Google’s Privacy Policy.
Accounts, advertising and sharing
TickMark does not require an account and does not include advertising or an analytics service operated by Baguette Studios. If you share or export a photo using your phone’s features, the destination you choose handles that copy under its own policies.
Support messages
If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and investigate your request, and retain them as needed to handle that conversation. You can ask us to delete your support correspondence.
This website
This is a static website hosted by Cloudflare. We do not add advertising, analytics scripts, forms or tracking cookies. Cloudflare processes connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. Email links open your own email service.
Keeping or deleting your data
Your editable climbing gallery stays in the app’s local storage. Uninstalling the app removes that local gallery. Exported or shared images, system photo-library copies and device backups are separate; manage or delete those through the relevant phone, backup or sharing service.
For questions about data you have sent us, or to request access, correction or deletion of support correspondence, email support@baguette-studios.dev.
